If a user wants the flexibility of being able to try any book that comes to mind without the fear of wasting money, the subscription is a great option. So, does it make sense to get an additional Kindle Unlimited subscription? Reading can be an expensive hobby, and although e-books are conventionally cheaper than the average paperback or hardcover, they are still pricey. Signature EditionĪ Kindle Unlimited subscription is not included in an Amazon Prime subscription. The service might be a nice addition to the other features included in an Amazon Prime subscription, but doesn't stand on its own as an individual subscription service. It is extremely limited, though - the Prime Reading library only features about 2,500 books. A Prime subscription includes Amazon Prime Reading and is another media option to complement the Prime titles available in Amazon Video and Amazon Music.
